‘Strange Frame’ to premier

After more than five years in the making, the Hakalau-produced independent feature film “Strange Frame” is making its premier next week Thursday in London.

Created by director G.B. Hajim and San Francisco musician Shelley Doty, the 29th century lesbian space opera was animated in the cutout style by more than 40 local students in the Island Planet One Productions studio.

Voice talents for “Strange Frame” include Tim Curry, George Takei, Claudia Black, Claudia Christian, Ron Glass, Alan Tudyk and Juliet Landau.

The film opens at Sci-Fi London, the United Kingdom’s largest science fiction festival and home of the Arthur C. Clarke Award.
